Acceptance of and Compliance with the Terms and Conditions
This website http://shop.wingchun.edu.au (the 'website') is owned and operated by Siu Sing Pty Ltd trading as the International Wing Chun Academy (the 'Academy'). Your access to and use of this website are subject to your full acceptance of and compliance with the Terms and Conditions outlined on this page and any referenced pages. The Academy reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions are effective immediately. You must ensure that you are familiar with the current Terms and Conditions each time you access or use the website.
Restrictions on Use
- You must not use this website in any manner or for any purpose that is unlawful or violates the rights of the Academy or any third party or associate of the Academy.
- You must not use this website in any manner or for any purpose that is prohibited by the Terms and Conditions.
The prices displayed on this website are online prices only and may not be offered in-store at Academy training locations.
All product prices on this website include 10% GST.
Prices may be changed at any time without notice. The price you are charged for an item is the price that is displayed on your final checkout screen.
All sizes and measurements are approximate.
Training Cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or other goods or services at the International Wing Chun Academy.
Your Training Card will entitle you to attend classes at one location nominated by you at the time of purchase. Training Cards are not transferable to other locations.
Training Cards must be treated like cash and cards that are defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen will not be replaced, refunded or allowed to be redeemed.
If a Training Card recipient is not enrolled at the International Wing Chun Academy, they will need to complete a Student Agreement Form before being allowed to attend classes.
Training Card Validity and Expiry
- 6 class Training Cards expire 3 months after the first class written on the card or 12 months after the date of issue, whichever date comes first.
- 12 class Training Cards expire 6 months after the first class written on the card or 12 months after the date of issue, whichever date comes first.
All Orders are Final
Once you have completed the checkout process and submitted payment via PayPal or zipPay, your order is considered final and cannot be cancelled.
All payments are processed by PayPal or zipPay. At no stage are your financial details revealed to the Academy. For more information, please click here.
Returns, Replacements and Refunds
All information, text, material and graphics on the website are the copyright of the Academy (except where otherwise stated) and are protected by Australian and international copyright law. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.
All names, logos and trademarks are either the property of the Academy or the property of third parties whose products appear on the website. Such third party trademarks are used only to identify the products and services of their respective owners, and no sponsorship or endorsement on the part of the Academy should be inferred from the use of these trademarks.
Nothing on the website should be interpreted as granting any rights to use or distribute any names, logos or trademarks, without the express written agreement of the Academy or that of the relevant third party trademark owner. Nothing displayed on the website should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any name, logo or trademark without the Academy's express permission, or that of the relevant third party trademark owner.
The Academy makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness or timeliness of the website's content. The content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors. The use of the website and its content is at your own risk. Changes are periodically made to the website and may be made at any time.
The website and its content are provided on an 'as is' basis without any warranties of any kind. The Academy disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and all corresponding state and territory legislation implies terms, conditions and warranties into some contracts for the supply of goods and services and prohibits the exclusion, restriction and modification of such terms ('Prescribed Terms'). Except as provided by the Prescribed Terms, all warranties express or implied by law in any way relating to access to, or non access to, the website or the use of or reliance upon the website or its content are excluded.
In addition, the Academy does not warrant that the website will operate error-free or that the website and its servers are free of computer viruses and other harmful data, code, components or other material. Nor does the Academy warrant that it will be able to prevent any illegal, harmful or inappropriate use, modification or alteration of the website, or will give notice of such use, modification or alteration. If your use of the website or its content results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or data, the Academy is not responsible for those costs.
Except as provided by the Prescribed Terms, neither the Academy, its suppliers, or any third parties mentioned on the website shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits or damages) resulting from the use or access to or inability to use and access the website and its contents.

The Terms and Conditions are effective until terminated by the Academy. The Academy may terminate this agreement and your access to the website at any time without notice. In the event of termination, you are no longer authorised to access the website. All restrictions imposed on you, disclaimers and limitations or liability set out in the Terms and Conditions will survive termination.
The Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
If any provision of the Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms and Conditions, which will continue in full force and effect. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
